Further to the trail mail, it gives me immense pleasure to inform you all that we have closed the FY 15-16 in India on a +ve growth (6 %) in retail net with a Good volume and followed by Service Net. The overall Rummy business (including IB & Aggregates) ended the year with a volume above Last Year
Though the growth in Rummy Net is marginal but it is really very appreciating that we took off slow but later in H2 the momentum started to pick up with the schemes like Loyalty Bonus, Get Set Fly and other product level schemes which in 16-17 we will be initiating from day 1 from major sites
The SOUTH Region (Rummy Net) has registered a growth of 8% over LY, thanks and many congratulations to you all and your entire team for their fabulous performance even in such tough conditions with major competitive promotions from big sites. Their contribution helped the region to achieve the growth. We expect much better performance from all of you in this FY and going forward as we need to quickly reach to the dream target of 30 sites in next 3 years. The consistent performance of growth is equally important and I am sure each one of you will be working to grow consistently achieving greater heights every month as there is a large chunk of market still open and needs to be conquered quickly.
In order to further strengthen our presence and help you achieve substantial growth for better earnings, from Rummy side we have taken some good initiative in 15-16 like First Ever Foreign trip scheme was launched for the Players – GET SET FLY Scheme, well appreciated Loyalty Bonus Scheme and many other product level scheme, Relationship Players Conference, Training program for the New Game Players, Separate Training Program for Female Players, Introduced Beat Plan for Relationship Managers – Rummy Marketing Team, stock audits, Effective Raids, New Retailer addition, Growth through the Champion Zones, Rummy Day, First Ever Event for the Rummyians – The Rummykshetra, initiated Branding of Rummy rooms, Addition of New Players and Leaders, SMART Project at as many as 16 sites, TOC in West and some part of North, and few in East etc.
This FY 16-17 too we will continue with the above mentioned enablers but more vigorously. We will be focusing more on Penetration of parts and Penetration of Retailers in each Rummycounter. We will be focusing on Top 200 parts which contribute to 90% of your sales but getting sold to a very few retailers of your territory hence the counter share is low. In the sales process of FY 16-17 which now will be attracting 6% instead of 4.5% of 15-16, we have introduced PENETRATION parameter in which you need to penetrate with these Top 16 rummy sites parts to a large retailer count every month. This will help in increasing volumes and increasing the counter share at each counter. This will be complimented by a proper Beat plan which needs to be strictly followed so that this parameter is easily achieved and our counter share increases. Also the GET SET FLY Scheme and the SMART project will help you further.
We are also bringing in some very effective tool for the Relationship Managers so that they are well equipped with the part list, order pad, e-cats to resolve the queries in field, analysis of parts at retailer level, focus list of players with USP and so on. This way we will be strengthening our front line soldiers. Also we will be introducing MPA parameters for them with monthly/quarterly awards for them. For the Players we are coming up with the new Rummy Portal to ease the life of the Players. The revamped Loyalty Program will further help them to check their status live at any moment of time.
I am enclosing herewith the YoY structure policy which is purely on off take growth and the sales process parameters along with their %. This will help you to decide your policy with the Players further. By now our Rummy team must have discussed the sign off sheet with you in details and hence during the sign off we need to discuss more on the strategy of increasing the market share of sites our business in each of your territory.
Approaching the last customer and grabbing every single opportunity is the key to success. As we have to move very fast towards the highest mark hence we need full enthusiasm, energy, systematic approach of business, systems in place, proper territory mapping, desired man power in place, desired sites and points to be opened to cater to very single opportunity of business and retaining every single valued customer or converting the customer to buy TGP or bringing in new customer to our fold. I am sure the Rummy team must be guiding you well on this.
I shall further elaborate on this when we meet during the sign off. Please adhere to the schedule of the sign off as we need to spend quality time during the sign off.
